It has been said that the loss of a child is the most intense pain and grief a person can endure. On February 2, 2016, Eric understood this first hand with the untimely death of his sixteen-year-old son, Thomas. In "My Thoughts From the Storm," Eric frankly shares his struggles with faith, coping with the pain and loss, and the strength and hope he found to carry on and honor his son’s memory by living. He also addresses issues such as depression, anxiety, and suicide. "My Thoughts From the Storm" shares some of Eric’s personal journal entries, many lessons learned on the journey, as well as an account of his and Thomas’ story. Eric’s prayer is that, within the pages of this book, whatever situation you find yourself in, you will find both comfort and hope. You are not alone.
